  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water. Add the lemon halves, peppercorns, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add the shrimp to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until pink and opaque. Do not overcook.
  3. Drain the shrimp immediately and transfer to a bowl of ice water to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, drain the shrimp again and pat dry.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (if using), and lemon juice. Mix well.
