- 2 tablespoons sour cream or plain Greek yogurt (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the shredded chicken and barbecue sauce. Heat over medium heat until the chicken is warmed through and coated, about 5 minutes.
- Place the tostada shells on a flat surface.
- Divide the warm BBQ chicken mixture evenly among the four shells, spreading it across the surface.
- Top each tostada with shredded lettuce, chopped red onion, and crumbled cotija cheese.
- Drizzle with sour cream or Greek yogurt, if using.
- Sprinkle with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- You can bake the tostada shells at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes if you prefer them crispier.
- Use rotisserie chicken for faster preparation.
