Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the shredded chicken and barbecue sauce. Heat over medium heat until the chicken is warmed through and coated, about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the tostada shells on a flat surface.
  3. Divide the warm BBQ chicken mixture evenly among the four shells, spreading it across the surface.
  4. Top each tostada with shredded lettuce, chopped red onion, and crumbled cotija cheese.
  5. Drizzle with sour cream or Greek yogurt, if using.
