Description

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free barbecue sauce
  • 4 slices dairy-free cheese
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter or oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the barbecue sauce until the chicken is fully coated.
  3. Place two slices of bread on a clean surface. Top each slice with two slices of dairy-free cheese.
  4. Divide the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the cheese layers.
  5. Top with the remaining two slices of bread.
  6. Lightly brush the outside of each sandwich with vegan butter or oil.
  7. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
