Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade, toss to coat evenly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes before use.
- Thread the marinated beef onto the skewers, leaving a small space between pieces.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the skewers for 3 to 4 minutes per side, turning until the beef reaches your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve these skewers with steamed rice or a simple cucumber salad.
- You can substitute sirloin with flank steak or tenderloin.
