Simple Apple Cider Mocktail

Description

A refreshing, non-alcoholic drink made with apple cider and spices.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 thin apple slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour apple cider into a small saucepan.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick to the cider.
  3. Heat the cider gently over medium-low heat until warm, about 5 minutes. Do not boil.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the cinnamon steep for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove and discard the cinnamon stick.
  6. Divide the warm cider between two glasses.
  7. Stir in the lime juice in each glass.
  8. Top each serving with sparkling water.
  9. Garnish each glass with an apple slice.

Notes

  • You can chill the cider mixture instead of warming it for a cold beverage.
  • Use apple juice if you prefer a sweeter base.
