Description

Cook lobster tails quickly and easily using an air fryer for tender meat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lobster tails (about 56 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  2. Use kitchen shears to cut a slit down the center of the top shell of each lobster tail, being careful not to cut through the meat completely. Gently pull the meat up through the slit to expose it.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the exposed lobster meat.
  5. Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket, meat side up.
  6. Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through. Cooking time depends on the size of the tails.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cooked lobster before serving.
  • If you prefer a crispier shell, you can baste the shell lightly with butter halfway through cooking.
