Description
A simple method for making a crispy grilled cheese sandwich using an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 slices bread
- 2 slices cheese (cheddar or American recommended)
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
Instructions
- Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, into the air fryer basket.
- Layer the cheese slices on top of the bread.
- Place the second slice of bread on top of the cheese, butter-side up.
- Set the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, flipping the sandwich halfway through the cooking time.
- Check for desired crispness and melt; cook for an additional minute if needed.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use medium heat settings on your air fryer for best results.
- If your bread is very thick, you may need to add 1-2 minutes to the cooking time.
