Description

A simple method for making a crispy grilled cheese sandwich using an air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 slices cheese (cheddar or American recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, into the air fryer basket.
  3. Layer the cheese slices on top of the bread.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top of the cheese, butter-side up.
  5. Set the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  6. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes, flipping the sandwich halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Check for desired crispness and melt; cook for an additional minute if needed.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use medium heat settings on your air fryer for best results.
  • If your bread is very thick, you may need to add 1-2 minutes to the cooking time.
