Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine chicken broth, carrots, celery, and onion in a large pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
- Add the shredded chicken, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to heat the chicken through.
- Serve hot.
